How clipping works
1. What is clipping?
Brands, streamers and studios pay you to cut short vertical clips (15–60s) of their content and post them on your own TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels or X. You earn per view, usually quoted as a rate per 1,000 views (CPM).
2. How the money works
A $1/1K campaign pays $100 for a clip with 100,000 views. Most campaigns have a max payout per clip, a minimum view threshold, and a total budget – when it runs out, earnings stop. Pick campaigns with healthy budget left.
3. Pick a campaign
Use the filters on the directory to match your platform and niche (streamer, movie/TV, brand). Read the brief: required hashtags, tags, captions, audience location and posting window.
4. Make clips that hit
- Hook in the first 1–2 seconds
- Bold captions, face-cam crop, 1080×1920
- Add your own commentary/editing – platforms limit reach on unedited reuploads
- Loop the ending
5. Submit and get paid
Post, then paste the link into the campaign platform (often within a time window). Views are tracked automatically; payouts arrive by PayPal, bank or crypto when the cycle closes.
